Embedded within every culture are the universals ­ be it in symbol, word, sound, or concept. They are there under the surface or right in front of you ­ if only you had the eyes to see them. It is fun for me to find them peeking out at me like the hidden picture in the Highlight books I loved to examine at the doctors' office as a child.
